Working With Data (Filtering & Sorting)

Once at a dataset, you can filter and sort on columns to create subsets—or “views”—of the data.

Filtering

1. Click a column header.
2. Select “Filter.”
3. Select only the values you want to display, OR:
4. Click the “Choose Filters” tab and define the filter you want to use.
5. Once filtered, the column shows a filter icon in the header.

To clear the filter from a single column, click the column heading and select “Clear Filter.”

To clear filters (and all sorts) hover above the header row and click “Clear All.”

Sorting

1. Click a column header.
2. If sortable, the sort/filter menu appears. Click “Ascending” or “Descending.”
3. Once sorted, the column shows a triangle icon (up = ascending, down = descending).

To remove a sort on a column, click the column header and select Clear Sort.
